IdealAssets is an online classifieds marketplace that lets registered users list, discover, and communicate about items for sale or rent, including vehicles, property, electronics, and household goods.

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract under Indian law to register an account or post a listing on IdealAssets.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide during registration, including your mobile number, and for keeping your account credentials secure.

Accounts are created and accessed using a one-time password (OTP) sent to your mobile number, or by signing in with a linked Google account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must notify us promptly if you become aware of unauthorized access to your account.

IdealAssets provides a platform for buyers and sellers to connect. We are not a party to, and do not guarantee, any transaction between users. We do not take possession of, inspect, or certify the condition, quality, legality, or ownership of any item listed.

Any agreement to buy, sell, or rent an item is solely between the buyer and the seller. You are responsible for verifying the other party's identity, the item's condition, and the legitimacy of any payment before completing a transaction.

Where IdealAssets offers paid seller plans or listing promotions, payment for those specific services is processed through our payment provider. This does not extend to, and IdealAssets is not responsible for, payments made directly between buyers and sellers for listed items.

You retain ownership of the content (including text, photos, and other material) you post to IdealAssets. By posting content, you grant IdealAssets a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content on our platform and in our marketing, solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the service.

You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to any content you post, and that your listing does not infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.

Listings must comply with our Listing Policy and Prohibited Items Policy. We may review, edit, suspend, or remove any listing or content that violates these Terms or applicable law, at our discretion.

You agree not to: post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings; impersonate any person or entity; harass, threaten, or defraud other users; upload malicious code; scrape or systematically extract data from IdealAssets; or use the platform for any unlawful purpose.

Repeated or serious violations may result in listing removal, account suspension, or termination, without prior notice where warranted by the severity of the violation.

Basic use of IdealAssets — browsing, messaging, and posting standard listings — is free. Optional seller plans, listing boosts, and promotions may be offered for a fee, as described at the time of purchase. Fees, once paid for a delivered promotional service, are generally non-refundable except where required by law.

You can report a listing or another user directly from within the platform. We review reports and may take action including content removal, warnings, or account suspension, based on our assessment of the report.

IdealAssets is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any listing is accurate, complete, or safe to transact on.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, IdealAssets and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform or any transaction with another user, including loss arising from a fraudulent listing, misrepresentation, or a failed transaction between users.

You agree to indemnify and hold IdealAssets harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your content, or your conduct on the platform.

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, suspected fraud, or as required by law. You may stop using IdealAssets and request account deletion at any time by contacting us.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of IdealAssets is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of IdealAssets after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be indicated by updating the “Last updated” date above.
