Account information: your mobile number, and optionally your name, email, and profile photo if you sign in with Google or add these details yourself.

Listing information: anything you include in a listing, such as photos, descriptions, price, and general location (city/area).

Communications: messages you send to other users through our in-platform chat, and reports you file.

Usage information: pages you view, searches you make, and device/browser information, collected automatically to operate and improve the service.

Verification information: if you choose to verify your seller profile, the identity document and selfie you submit for that purpose.

To create and manage your account, authenticate you via OTP or Google sign-in, and let you post and manage listings.

To connect buyers and sellers (for example, showing your display name and general area to someone messaging you about a listing) — we do not show your mobile number to other users through the platform.

To operate safety features such as reporting, moderation, and seller verification.

To send you service-related communications, such as OTP codes and updates about your listings or account.

To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms.

We use a third-party SMS gateway to deliver OTP codes to your mobile number for login. We use Google's Sign-In service if you choose that login method; Google's own privacy policy governs the information Google collects during that process.

We use cookies to keep you signed in and remember basic preferences. See our Cookie Policy for details.

With other users, limited to what's needed for a transaction: your listing content, display name, and general area. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

With service providers who help us operate the platform (for example, cloud storage for photos and an SMS gateway for OTPs), bound by confidentiality obligations.

When required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of IdealAssets, our users, or the public.

We retain your account and listing information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account at any time; some information may be retained where required by law.

You can review and update your profile information from your account settings, delete individual listings, and unlink a connected Google account. You can contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to applicable law.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, consistent with the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

IdealAssets is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate action.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the “Last updated” date above.
