IdealAssets — Buy, Sell, Rent

Prohibited Items Policy

Last updated: 28 September 2026

The following items and content may not be listed, offered, or discussed for sale/rent on IdealAssets. This list is illustrative, not exhaustive — anything illegal to sell, own, or transfer under Indian law is prohibited even if not specifically named below.

1. Illegal and Regulated Goods

Firearms, ammunition, explosives, and weapons of any kind, including replicas that could be mistaken for real weapons.

Narcotics, controlled substances, and drug paraphernalia.

Any item whose sale is restricted or banned under Indian law without the required license or permit (for example, certain chemicals, medicines, or wildlife products).

2. Counterfeit and Stolen Goods

Counterfeit or replica goods that infringe another party's trademark or copyright.

Stolen goods, or items you do not have the legal right to sell.

3. Fraudulent Documents and Financial Items

Fake or forged identity documents, certificates, or currency.

Financial scams, pyramid/Ponzi schemes, or unregistered investment or lending schemes.

4. Animals and Wildlife

Live animals, and any wildlife or wildlife products protected under the Wildlife Protection Act or CITES.

5. Adult and Illegal Content

Sexually explicit content, and any content involving the exploitation of minors, which will be reported to the relevant authorities.

6. Hazardous Materials

Hazardous, flammable, or toxic materials that cannot be safely listed, stored, or shipped by an individual seller.

7. Other Restricted Content

Listings that promote violence, hate speech, or discrimination; listings soliciting services rather than the sale/rental of an asset (unless the category explicitly supports it); and any listing designed to circumvent this policy through vague or coded descriptions.

8. Reporting a Violation

If you see a listing that appears to violate this policy, report it directly from the listing page. We review reports and remove violating content; repeated violations may result in account suspension and, where required by law, a report to the relevant authorities.
