Delete Your Account

Open the IdealAssets app and sign in to the account you want to delete.

Go to Account / Settings → Delete Account.

Confirm the deletion when prompted. This step cannot be undone, so you'll be asked to confirm before anything is removed.

Your account is deleted immediately — you're signed out on all devices right away, and the mobile number is free to register a brand-new account with straight after.

Your profile: display name, email, profile photo, and bio.

Any identity document or selfie photo you submitted for seller verification — these files are permanently removed from our storage, not just hidden.

Saved searches, recently viewed items, favorites, and your browsing/search history.

Push notification tokens registered to your devices.

All of your active login sessions, which are revoked immediately.

Your live listings are taken down from the marketplace at the same time.

We do not delete records that involve other users or that we're required to keep for legal, safety, or accounting reasons — for example, completed orders, payment/wallet history, chat messages with other users, and reports you were involved in. Deleting your account strips these records of your personal details (name, contact info), but the underlying record stays, because other people's order history and our legal obligations don't disappear just because one party closed their account.

If any of this data needs to be deleted sooner for a specific reason (for example, a legal requirement), contact us using the details below and we'll handle it directly.

If you can't sign in to request deletion through the app — for example, you've lost access to your phone number — email us at idealassetsiindia@gmail.com from any email address, with the mobile number on the account, and we'll verify and process the deletion manually within a reasonable time.
